Personal clothing & equipment

Patagonia adventure chile

This equipment list is intended to be used as a guide to packing and not in any way the last word on gear or packing. We suggest you use this as a general packing list to cover the wide variety of climatic realities you could encounter here in Patagonia. The central concept behind our equipment list is to have many layers that allow you to regulate your temperature throughout the day and with the changes it will typically bring. We do ask you to label your clothing, wear it before coming on the trip, and know how to use it as this will raise you comfort level.

As for boots, you must break your boots in before coming so as not to have any discomfort or medical complications caused by ill fitting or too stiff boots. If you have any specific questions on this list please get in touch and we will gladly sort them out.
